First Look Comps surfaced that early data, increasing total lease comp exposure by 13% for Enterprise users, and scaling it to third-party sources grew lease comp coverage by 30%.

Project Synopsis

Enterprise users came to CompStak expecting to find newsworthy lease transactions, but often couldn’t. Deals that were still incomplete were hidden entirely, so some of the most valuable early data never reached the people looking for it.

As Product Design Lead, I designed First Look Comps to surface those high-value early transactions instead of hiding them until every field was complete. I then scaled the design to take in inputs from third-party sources, including SEC filings and CMBS reports, to extend coverage further. This led to:
